A little more detail, I’m having trouble breathing… it feels like the "after-effects" of being scared where your chest feels heavy and I’m taking deep breaths. Its also like taking a few too many energy drinks or Red Bulls but my heartbeat is around 110. The first occurrence happened last night and lasted for about 2 hours (took an aspirin, not sure it helped but the symptoms faded over time), its happening now and its been going on for about an hour or two. My hands, fingers and arms feel normal with no tingling sensations nor are they shaky/jittery. No shortness of breath and my shoulders/neck aren’t sore or in pain so I’m pretty sure its not Heart Attack related.
Breathing deep breaths cause a bit of a lightheaded feeling

I’m 34 years old, about 70lbs overweight, don’t feel overly stressed about anything nor am I in a situation that could bring upon a panic attack. As for Diet, over the weekend I had a few extra cups of caffeine than normal but none last night or this morning.

As far as I can tell, my heart feels like its pumping extra hard (but beating the same) and no other symptoms other than a slight lightheaded feeling and a caffeine headache.

On Friday I had blood taken out to be checked for cholesterol, diabetes, etc.
Friday night I felt extremely dizzy, lightheaded, everything looked dark and I had pressure on my chest. I was about to pass out.
I got taken to the hospital where they performed an EKG, they checked my blood for any blood clots and I had X rays done.
I had a tranquilizer injected. I felt a little better. But on the weekend I was feeling very very tired! I still felt a little lightheaded and felt like I was going to pass out every few minutes.
On Monday I went to my doctor and she told me I had high cholesterol (282). I started getting that pressure on my chest again and I couldn’t breathe, they injected another tranquilizer.
Ever since then I have been having trouble breathing. I feel like I breathe too slow.
Could tranquilizers make me feel this way.
I’m still feeling tired and lightheaded.

Could this still be anxiety? I’m kinda worried It could be something else because I’m still having symptoms…

No rude answers please

I have been having bad anxiety for the past 3 weeks and at times i get anxiety attacks worse than others. My main symptoms are having toruble breathjing, heart pounding, tingly feeling, etc. Now ive been noticing that my cardio level is bad. Like when i do excercise or run or do any work involving cardio, im so bad at it. Now heres the thing, im an extremly healthy person with great health as the doctor says, i workout evryday day and run evryday and play sports all the time, eat right etc.
(the only problem is anxiety attacks) . Now in the past week its been hard to do that as i get very tired and my heart beats faster than ususal. Is that caused by always having anxiety or did i damage my heart or lungs with anxiety attacks? is that even possible? or is just casued by me always having anxiety its just right now at these hard times of alway having anxiety symptoms- having trouble breathing and heart pounding tingly feelnigs etc. its harder to do normal stuff? Someone fill me in.

Could having chest tightness for several weeks still be heart related? I have had this tightness for several weeks, off and on…mainly on. It doesn’t hurt, it just feels a bit tight. I am not having trouble breathing. I have no other bothersome symptoms. I did quit smoking right before this started…I don’t know if that’s related. I do have tooth decay in my mouth…which is getting fixed next week…seriously wondering if that could be related. I do have some issues with panic and anxiety. In fact, since this started, I have been having panic attacks up to 4 and 5 times a day.

Go to the doctor…I KNOW. Unfortunetly, my insurance will not kick in til the end of the month. Looking for some ideas now…Any suggestions and opionions are welcomed…serious answers only.

THANKS TO ALL!
Detail I should have added…if I press on my chest it feels more sore….I don’t know if that makes a difference.

I’ve had anxiety for as long as I can remember. I used to have anxiety attacks as a juvenile, with a " lump in the throat and I’m going to swallow it and choke to death " feeling and my hands would get sweaty and I would lie awake in bed, scared to death from days, sometimes even weeks on in. I’m 25 now and I’ve recently been having them but they’re not too bad, however, today I was at work and encountered the worst anxiety attack I’ve ever had in my entire life. I was having a good day, nothing going wrong then all of sudden I left my office and my chest began to tighten. I started panicing and my heart rate increased drasticly and I began to shake uncontrolabley. I started thinking I was going to sufficate to death. It felt like I had someone sitting on my chest and I couldn’t expand it enough to get a full breath. I sat down and it began to slow down. An hour later, I thought it was over and I began to drive home from work. I was talking to a girlfriend on the phone and I literally hung up on her in mid conversation because it started again. I pulled over to the side of the road from the highway and started flipping out again. My chest tightened, I was having trouble breathing, I started to shake and and I felt really light headed. It honestly scared me. I’m afraid to go to sleep now. I’ve never expirineced a panic attack this bad before. Is this normal? a friend told me, some panic attacks are worse then others. I feel like I’m losing my mind.
