please help me: i have weird symptoms and i feel its affecting my mental and physical health…..?
Ok for the past 2 months, I have not been the same. I dropped out of college 2 months ago. I have not had the balls to go back and officially withdraw out of fear of something idk.. I have trouble slleping, or sometimes I sleep too much, or I wake up feeling unrested. I have not left the house in 2 months… I sleep mostly during the day and I’m up most nights. I have paniic attacks randomly, coupled with anxiety and stomach flutters that happen randomly. I attribrute my problems to me losing the love of my life couple yrs ago, but I’m not even sure if this this what’s causing mty problems. I have a fear of being stared at if I go outside. I don’t know what’s wrong with me, but I feel like hurting myself but due to fear and anxiety I don’t. I get scareed when ppl talk about death or illness…what is wrong with me? Last time i went to the doc he mentioned something about serotonin but I’m not sure. I’m 22 years old……..
I have no support network except for my parents but even when they ask what is wrong I say nothing because at times I really don’t know what my problem is. I don’t have friends even the few I have I don’t talk my problems to. I don’t have a partner and going out and finding one is not an option. It sounds like you may have an anxiety disorder. Serotonin is a chemical in the brain that regulates our moods and such. You can take medication that boosts the levels of serotonin and will make you feel better. Talk to your doctor about it, this is something that can be fixed.

it honestly sounds like your moods are unbalanced somehow. i experienced similar things. when your moods are a certain way, it can cause confusion and everything can seem like a problem, or situations are more likely to be viewed negatively that wouldn’t have before. so for sure try not to think as much as you can, keep busy by reading something that won’t remind you of anything that would bother you, walk for thirty minutes everyday, eat healthy and get all the nutrients you need. i suggest when you start doing this, write the things you did and how you feel everyday, and then go to a psychiatrist. you can ask me for help whenever
