This place is too small to give you all kins of information as ADD, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, panic attacks, depression, all belog to the same category, yet are totally different disorders.

yes, there are quite a few herbs which when combined with similar acting herbs make for extremely effective, side-effects free, remedies which are actually non-habit forming too.

Tarentula, Passionflower, Lavender, lemon Balm, St. John's Wort are just a few to name.

I will suggest that you read the below mentioned articles before jumping over any brand or herbs. Remember, always buy herbal remedies from a reputable compant which produces these products in a FDA regictered, GMP compliant plant, preferably using Full Spectrum Extraction methods.

i take flax oil which has a lot of the fatty acids as fish oil. i also take a b-vitamin complex with magnesium three times a day. this really helps me to stay more balanced. when i first started the regimen, after a few weeks, i started feeling so normal it was weird. i've also found if you keep on strict schedule you'll stay much more balanced. making yourself exercise, eat, sleep, at the same time everyday despite mania/depression makes a big difference, though i know it's much harder than it sounds for people like us. i'm still relearning how do stuff like that. well, hope that helps. take care and

"No Fenol" is a great supplement if you feel really jumpy, intense, moody (other symptoms). It's actually a supplement for autism but it often helps people with bi-polar or schizophrenia.

It helps your liver metabolize some neurotransmitters and hormones by taking stress off the phase two liver sulfation.

According to what I've read the alt/comp stuff is extremely dangerous and often results in a worsening of the manic/depressive ends, basically pushing both to greater extremes. See a real doctor and talk to them frankly about your concerns regarding medication. There are a dozen different drugs for each of your problems and chances are that there is a good treatment plan for you. Going off and on your meds and mixing in alt/comp garbage is really dangerous. Again, please, consult your doctor and listen to what they say.

You can go to www.alternativementalhealth.com. It has lots of information and a database that lists many doctors who can help.
