I need help. It’s getting worse.. read please?

November 24th, 2009 by admin | Filed in Anxiety Symptoms

Well, I always have an irregular/rapid-ish on and off heart beat..(not diagnosed, just noticed by me) like I always have it, but lately I’ve had a difficulty breathing. My throat gets tight, and it feel like I get dizzy. The more I think about it, the worse it gets. So, i Try not to, and just right it off as being all in my head. But I get other physical symptoms aswell that makes me question if I could really do that to myself by stress or whatever. Any ideas? Diagnoses? Anything to contribute? Its getting worse, especailly at night! I have horrible insomnia, and then all of a sudden I’m stricken for breath. I express myself alot when im upset because im a very sensitive person. I love writting and I talk to girlfreinds about whats going on in my life. so..is it just stress? Anxiety? I could possibly see that..but i dont know. I cant stop it. Its like, taking over my thoughts. Im constantly thinking about stuff, almost like a new found paranoia….help.
yea..i guess. but woudlnt that just mean like, anti anxiety pills? such as downers like xanax? cause im way scared to mess with those lol

That does sound like panic attacks. Are you taking any medications? Some medications make panic attacks more likely. You do need to discuss this with your doctor. Rather than anti-anxiety medication, you may want to consider counseling.

Anxiety. A.K.A. a panic attack. But, rather than listen to would-be-question-answer"ers" on the Yahoo boards. Seek a Dr.’s help. Make an Appointment and you will be thanking yourself.

You have the same symptoms as my 19 year old daughter. It sounds like you are having panic attacks.

Make an appointment to see your doctor so you can get diagnose to make sure it’s not something else.

NOTE: be very weary about anti-depressants and anti- anxiety pills. Doctors are so quick to write you a prescription for these powerful pills after talking with you for 15 minutes. Talking to a therapist may be all you need. They can give you tools you need to de-stress and manage your life better.

My husband and I were horrified when we researched the anti-depressants medication my daughter was on. We took her off them, and she’s doing fine without them, she’s now just seeing her therapist.

    Good Luck!
