Why do we suffer from panic attacks?

A couple of times, but the first one I had was when I fell off my friends four-wheeler, I did a 360 sideways spin, and I didn’t have a helmet! Silly me….

Scared as hell! I thought I was going to die or something!

I think its because something so scary or something you lost that was priceless and it scares you.

Sorry I’m too lazy to do the entire survey. I’ve had panic attacks. As far as I know the culprit is the refusal to face fears. Another reason I got them was from hanging out with someone who was very selfish, and negative.

couldn’t breathe, tight chest, very anxious and emotional

20+ but they’re not too bad

my twin sister, because she was telling me she has a nervous eye tick

sometimes physical pain trigger them for me, and sometimes it’s emotional stress. I think it’s because of the flight/fight response, my bodies preparing for something but it’s not going ot happen

I don’t know, i can stop them if i really focus on my breathing

it was sort of just a build up of stress from a bad part time job and the start of my VCE

they’re not really bad

not really, they usually happen when i’m in bed and thinking too much

no

Lack of knowledge! Confidence comes with how much you know about something. I used to have panic attacks and I fixed it with reading. A confedent person rarly has this problem. READ READ READ!!!!!!!!!!

How did you feel during the attack? > LIke i just couldn’t move, it felt like everything was closing in on me and i couldn’t make it.

6. When physically and mentally a person can not handle an event or events that are occuring in their lives.
7. Stress relief. Panic attacks occur when individuals have a large stress level and have no way to get rid of it.
