deep belly breathing (google it to learn this technique), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). CBT teaches you cognitive techniques to stop panic in its tracks – you will learn to stop your mind from spiraling out of control. Some people also find that meditation can help reduce the incidence of panic attacks, although it may not do much once the panic has already started.

Close your eyes. Take three deep breaths. Count to 10. Add chocolate and blueberries to your diet.

Try oats. I buy oat straw and make a very strong tea out of it. Keep it in your fridge when you are feeling a panic attack drink some of the oat straw, it has a calming effect. My fiance’s aunt uses it to help her with her panic attacks and she swears by it. It’s an herb so look at an herb shop.
